BioI'm a writer and editor. This journal used to be (mostly) about fiction writing, a field in which I am so far unpublished, but now tends to be sporadically posted tidbits about everything but writing. I've written newspaper (and other) articles; online help, manuals, and various bits of other documentation; test guides; science articles; etc. I believe in the Harvard comma, split infinitives, and sentences ending in prepositions. I used to be a physicist, but came to my senses. Now I copy edit other people's journal articles, changing their commas to semicolons and defining their acronyms when they least expect it.
(Actually I don't anymore, but I haven't taken the time to come up with something amusing to say about my new job.)
